NOBLE FLORENCE: THE CITY OF LILIES

The cultural cradle of Italy, Florence is a city built on ancient lore and legacy. It is home to one of the oldest Florentine families in history, a legendary line of warriors and merchants.

With exclusive access to two of the family's private heritage estates, spend time at their ancestral palace with today’s generation to gain intimate insight into their past, present and future. How are they transforming their ancient estates and adapting historic agricultural practices for a new era?

Florence Vineyard
DAY ONE - MASTERS OF WINE

Land at Florence Peretola airport and take a private transfer to your hotel, where lunch awaits. Later that afternoon, explore the family's private winery, a sprawling estate in the wooded hills of Chianti Rufina.

Learn how the owners are respecting ancestral agricultural philosophies while experimenting with modern viticulture techniques. End the day by sampling rare bouquets over a wine-pairing dinner held in the stunning gardens of the estate – think candle-strewn tabletops framed by centuries-old groves.

Palazzo Gondi, Florence
DAY TWO - OLIVE PRESSING AND PALATIAL ROOFTOPS

On the outskirts of Florence, the unspoiled valley on the slopes of Monte Morello is known as the green lung of the city. There, you’ll find the family's organic olive farm, where olive oil has been produced from some 20,000 olive trees since the Middle Ages. Learn about today’s olive-farming process, join in with production and find out what’s next in today’s shifting agricultural landscape.

Return to the city and explore the family's Palazzo. Built on the ruins of an ancient roman site in the heart of Florence, this centuries-old palace sketches a remarkable 500-year history. Compromising private living quarters and a rooftop terrace, the top floor of the Palazzo houses one of the most impressive views over Florence. Guests will have privileged access with a hosted dinner overlooking the city, to end the evening.
